As I drove through the secondary growth towards the Headquarters of Huay Kha Kaeng I heard the loud shrieks of these smaller Hawks. They are resident in the Western forest complex of Thailand but not very common. Very attractive long-winged smaller Hawks with a nice crest and readily indentified.
