Yellow-eyed Babbler

Bangpra, Chonburi

Lives in grasslands alongside Prinias, Reed and Bush Warblers, Chats etc. Why it is classified as a Babbler I don't know. The birds eye is quite something though. Easily overlooked by many a visiting birder.

Yes, you're right about the eye. It''s that rather pronounced red ring.
