David Edwards and David S. Wilcove

Lampakbia, Petburi

David is a field biologist from Britain who came from Danum Valley, Borneo do meet Professor David S. Wilcove from the University of Princeton, NJ. They dearly wanted to see Spoon-billed Sandpiper and Nordmann's Greenshank before they'd head off for a few days to Khao Yai in search for the Coral-billed Ground Cuckoo. Here they are walking away from the White-faced Plover they spent some time studying.

Dear Peter,

I'm finally back from Malaysia, and I wanted you to know how much we appreciated our trip with you to Pak Thale. It exceeded our expectations in terms of rare birds, what with the 3 spoon-billed sandpiper, the black-faced spoonbill, the dozen Nordmann's greenshank, the two Chinese egrets, and the pair of white-faced plovers.
