Rufous-winged Philentoma

Krung Ching, Khao Luang, Nakorn SriTammarat

This is a flycatcher of the middle/lower storey of broadleaved evergreen forest in Southern Thailand.
A bird I haven't seen much but it's color and exotic name has always made an impression on me.

This one showed up next to the trail I was walking on.

This is a good one, Peter. Nice details. Tricky to shoot, it's not uncommon in Panti, but have only ever seen it inside the dark forest.
