Hoodoos Off the Beaten Path

Navajo Nation, McKinley County, New Mexico view map

We came across this small outcrop of hoodoo formations when taking Route 57 to leave Chaco Canyon
from the southern route. While not as plentiful as we found the follow day in the Bisti Badlands, I think
these formations had just as much character jutting out from the high desert plain.
This is a merge of three exposures for HDR.
