Ice Rivers

Greenland

This looks like a confluence of glaciers and was one of
the more amazing views I had of Greenland from 33,000 feet.
We passed by around noon local time, so the shadows give
you an idea of just how far north we were. Very cool.

One of my most satisfying window seats ever. The return trip from Frankfurt to LA
had us go up over Greenland. My first time for ever seeing glaciers, icebergs and
the frozen sea. I am not sure why it is called Greenland, because the roughly 2,000
miles we traversed was almost nothing but snow and ice. I was blessed with being on
the right side of the plane (literally) and having a cloud-free view.
(Not the case as we passed by Iceland)

Very interesting and beautiful. I'm in awe of the quality considering these were taken from the plane. Nice job.
