It's in Texas so it's gotta be big. The Texas Star at Fair Park in Dallas is the largest Ferris wheel in North America at 212 feet. A 344-footer in Yokohama, Japan and the mammoth 443 foot "London Eye" Ferris wheel, which opened in London in 1999, are the only two Ferris wheels in the world that are larger. The Texas Star operates during the State Fair of Texas, held annually for three weeks in October.
