Beautiful picture of this little fellow. We have them abundant. In summer they become a plague for the orchards. 20 years ago it was allowed in Belgium to shoot them. Now it is forbidden.

The most un-assuming and yet most beautiful Bird on the block, apparently they introduced them to the US as pets so they could see all the birds that Shakespear mentioned in his plays, now there getting scarse in the UK yet in the US there becoming a pest.
