Lots of nice elements in this image. A relaxed subject who looks comfortable in front of the camera. You get some good emotion out of your subject. Good exposure with skin tones & detail in the blacks ( you can see individual hairs in the dark areas ). The wisp of hair falling over the right eye also acts to frame your subject. The fence frames the image & draws you to the eyes ( which are in sharp focus ). The shadows from the fence is icing on the cake of a very nicely captured image. You had good instincts here.

1) This image is unique. Darker shadow could be an improvement.
2) Rule of thirds, Patter, and Texture were used. I like the use of composition.
3) The light looks like it is coming from the side profile, through the fence. It is a good exposure and quality of light. It is a good balance between the light and shadows.
4) I really like this photo a lot, it is unique and you put your own taste and style into it. I love the effect and dramatic impact of this photo. You did really well!(:

The idea of using the fence to cast a shadow is very unique, I don't think there are any improvements that need to be made. The photographer used rule of thirds and texture when taking this photograph. The light source is coming from the girls left, through the fence, which is creating a shadow on the right side of her face from the fence and also a shadow on the left side of her face. The impression this photo leaves is mysterious, because of the girls serious expression.
