This Lens is big compared to others lenses , and the focusing mechanism is of the rack and pinion type .
It suffers from massive contrastloss in some situations which is too bad .
The contrastlost is caused by the meniscus lens which is not well baffeled .
This meniscuslens is also uncoated .
In the right conditions this lens can take decent shots .
