I have no idea what this bird is, I've never seen one. I'm sure the flock of them that were with this one are just on their migration so somewhere even further north.

Thanks so much Henry! I was thinking it was some sort of Finch that I'd never seen, I'm glad you were able to recognize this pretty little bird. There was a fairly large flock of them and it was so strange, they would swarm across the road and you would follow them with your eyes and then POOF they were gone and you knew they had to be within sight, but they just disappeared.

Snow Bunting, every so often we get them here in Southern BC not this year. Nice that you were able to grab a photo of one they are flighty.
