taking a break to appreciate Nature - brenda

I spent some of yesterday afternoon, while waiting for an evacuation order, just wandering around. This fellow appeared with the first rays of sunshine (which didn't last) and helped himself to my sunflower seeds. I filled the feeders in case I had to be away for very long.

i like these guys, I know they can be a pain in rear, I had one in my house last year, but I find them entertaining, ,,I have prevented them from eating all bird feed, but leave enough peanuts, that they say hellow to me,,

Very nice pose! I'm sure he can look after himself. Shouldn't he be thinking of hibernating around now? Barry
