Nice job of stopping action, and the background is just enough out of focus so it doesn't distract. I think it's a bit overexposed--I'd like to see more detail in the snow. Also, I'd consider cropping about a quarter of the image on the left and a bit on the top. Get the bird at about the lower left one-third point. I think it would be a stronger picture.--TFH

Both well composed and good stop-action. Makes a lovely photo with the warm color tones.
