Lookin' Down the Line

Ok I take a lot of shots- but not at night. For some reason I haven't ventured out much after dark with my camera. I figured it was time to remedy that, so I set out on an adventure called "A night on the Town". I focused on just a single block of Encinitas where I thought I could get some gritty shots (or as gritty as a SoCal beach town gets). This shot is from our train platform.

This is excellent! Great POV and really great exposure that brings to life that feeling of waiting for a train at night by yourself. ~BV~

Nice POV and light. It does seem creepy due to how empty it is. It makes for a great mood. V

Most impressive for me is the magnificent variety of tones even w/o being an interesting scene."VVV"

I like the many leading lines in this great night shot. I never imagined trains in Southern California!
