Concessions

With the increasing polarization of our political parties and the art of negotiation and compromise all but gone it seems like concessions in Washington are pretty hard to come by. Maybe they should head out to Moonlight Beach, cuz we have a building full of them.

Beautiful choice, the dime of day with those long shadows, and the use of monochrome!

Nicely composed. Your use of black and white gives it that vintage vibe. V

Your comment is apropos of our times. I like the use of mono and '60'5 mood caused by the waning light and your subject. "VV"

superb, evocative image, and rife with immediacy...it seems that Washington, like many seats of government, is filled with egotistical people who think they are always right and so ignore views and ideas that challenge their own narrow vision...this might be a perfect venue to work out compromises, with the one billionaire of course footing the bill for the burgers and shakes..

Great image to illustrate your words. V.
(I don't want to argue as I'm not an US citizen, but I have my idea on the subject :) )

Great perspective and effective use of B&W. Nobody in Washington wants to concede anything.
