"Ferrari Beaters" Demonstration, Simeone Automotive Museum -- July 2012

In July 2012, the Simeone Automotive Museum's monthly demonstration of a selection of historic race cars focused on marques that defeated Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and in other endurance races. The cars driven around the back lot by Fred Simeone and curator Kevin Kelly were the museum's 1958 Aston Martin DBR1, 1964 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe, 1967 Ford GT Mk IV and 1970 Porsche 917 LH. Also brought outside, but only for display, was the museum's 1958 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa. I am pleased to share here the photos that I took of them.

For more information, visit the museum's Web site at http://www.simeonemuseum.org .

I took all the photos in this gallery with a handheld Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200mm VR zoom. All have been resized for online viewing.
