The Simeone Automotive Museum in Philadelphia held a "Nurburgring Demo Day" on Aug. 10, 2019. Four of the museum's historic race cars, which had competed at the legendary racing circuit, were driven around the 3-acre back lot. They were as follows: (1) 1927 Mercedes-Benz Sportwagen -- This particular car won the 1927 Nurburgring race. (2) 1937 BMW 328. (3) 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing. (4) 1958 Aston Martin DBR1 -- This particular car was driven to victory in the 1958 Nurburgring 1000 kilometer race by Stirling Moss and Jack Brabham.

The guest speakers at the event were racing legend David Hobbs and Formula 1 broadcaster Will Buxton. Their joint presentation and open forum were followed by a double book signing. Dozens of attendees bought copies of their latest books.
