Cherry Blossoms in Washington, D.C. -- 2005 and 2006

Every year, thousands of cherry trees around the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C., bloom at the same time in early April. Hundreds of thousands of people flock to the area to witness one of nature's awesome displays of beauty. This gallery contains the photos I took in 2005 and 2006 with a Nikon Coolpix 4300 and a Canon PowerShot S2 IS, respectively. ... I resized the images for online viewing.
