A day after another sublime and exhilirating drive on the back roads of West Virginia, I decided at the last-minute, on Aug. 17, to visit the Cars & Coffee in the Baltimore suburb of Hunt Valley, MD (8:00-10:00 a.m. every Saturday, until early November). I got there during the last 30 minutes of the scheduled gathering and then stayed an extra half hour. I am happy to share here the photos I took as the field of cars and the crowd were thinning out. It appears the turnout had been strong earlier that morning. I wasn't able to shoot many pictures because I spent quite a bit of time chatting with six other C&C car owners.

Though some cars and attendees show up repeatedly or several times in the course of a Cars & Coffee season, many more do so only once in a while. This means that there are always "new" or different cars, even rare ones, to see each time. So going several times or often is worthwhile.
