Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion -- Group 5A Race, August 2010

The 2010 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion was held Aug. 12 through 15 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. I watched eight of the 10 races that ran on Aug. 14 but had to miss the ones held the next day because I attended the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

This gallery is the last of 10 in my 2010 series on the Motorsports Reunion, formerly called the Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races. Featured here is the Group 5A Race for "1964-1969 FIA Mfg. Championship Cars." A total of 33 entries were registered, with 28 managing to start -- including some cars from the 1970s. (?)

I shot the photos in this gallery with a handheld Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200mm VR zoom. All have been resized for online viewing.
