Is Dr. Nisar still alive? I have heard that his son who is also a doctor practice at the same place now.
I am still scared of that big glass syringe (as disposable syringes were not common during those days) of his whenever I visited his clinic if I had fever. And also that green and pink syrup (I don't know what that was made of but was effective) in white plastic bottles. Dr. Ghulam Hassan on Egerton road also used to give similar syrup no matter what the diseas was :):)

This is one early morning after mosque and nashta (roti, mulai, tori) on my way home, before turning into Sethian Mohallah. Yes, I would get the halwa on my way home at night. Yummmm!
