Here's what we do on our road...help pull others out that are stuck.
The week before my daughter (who's walking with tow rope) was off the
side stuck also...we had help as well. Thank you God!

Happened to me too. Now I carry a tow chain and shovel in the winter. quite often the shoulder of the road is way deeper than it looks.. your photo says it all..

I spent a large part of November and December digging other people's cars out of the snow. I wouldn't have been able to get out myself without the help of my neighbour some mornings. If everyone helped each other out the world would run far more smoothly! Oh, nice angle, BTW :)

That's big time off the road! If I see someone stuck I always stop and try to help. Sometimes just 1 additional person's effort frees the vehicle. Hopefully if I ever need help someone will stop.
