Survival of the fittest.

Getting of the ski lift and leaving the deck this scene stood in path of my eyes and now in the path of your eyes.
No protection in this spot, what a long winter it must be for those lovely pines.

I like how the surviving pines have been sculpted by the elements. Things are going to get crazier in terms of weather from now on.... should be very interesting! VOTE!
