Looking across the hall to the bathroom door and the door to the smallest, or third, bedroom, to the left. That is a pile of quilted mattress protector pads in the doorway to the third bedroom. I use them on the floor to indicate to Casey, the dog with the brain tumor, who is on Prednisone, that this is where he needs to pee if he must pee in the house while we are gone. We will see how well that works without the carpet underneath. I expect that he will get even better at using the pads (which are washable) because dogs seem to prefer to pee "onto" something with texture, rather than a bare floor. Dog pee is the biggest reason we chose to do the halls in the very expensive Marmoleum. It is practically bulletproof, and it is not vinyl. The more natural product was worth it to us.
