Tom and the Spritzer by MCsaba

The "spritzer" is a drink in Hungary, consists of two decilitres of wine and one decilitre of soda water.Costs exactly one 100 HUF coin (~ 50 cents) in low-end taverns and it is a very popular drink of the manual workers. The "spritzer" has two more different versions: "Little Spritzer" is 1dl wine + 1dl soda and "Long Step" is 1dl wine + 2dl soda.

Great idea. I like the composition and lighting on this shot. Nice detail and shading on the fingers. The fingers do seem a little disconnected from the coin. I am not sure if this is a good idea or not, but if the had was posed face up, it might give the impression that the coin had just been tossed on the counter?

Thansk, Bob. The coin is a different one, the previous was exchanged to a spritzer :) I had much less troubles with this shot and the reason is the table with the almost perfectly even surface, where the coin is spinning very steady. The arrangement of fingers to tie better to the coin would be really nice but i have no idea at the moment how this could be composed. MCsaba

Now where have I seen that coin before?
I like the dark, rich tones of this shot and the composition is very nice. Lighting is very effective and makes nice shadows and reflections in the polished table top.

Photographic concerns aside, I wonder how it would look if the fingers were arranged in such a way that it appears they set the coin spinning to tie these 2 elements together.
