My Old Exakta
by Plamen Antonov

This camera is with me since I was 13, back in 1978.
It is an East German make close to Praktica.
Among all my stuff the Carl Zeiss Tessar 2.8/50 lense was the best.
The through-the-lens meter prism was great to have at that time.

I have the XG-1 and it works. Nice shot!

I like the background, echoing the camera works nicely.

Clearly an old friend! The signs of wear add nicely to the character of hr camera. From a photographic perspective, I am not sure if the wood background works for me, maybe a little too smooth and uniform?
Regards,
Richard.

This is very captivating for me: I had a Praktica MTL5, but I lost my old friend, who guided my first steps in photography, many many years ago. MCsaba
