Bologna, a city that wasn't really on the main tourist attraction, always has my heart. I was fortunate to live here from 1983 to 1985 (or more exactly, in a small town called Funo which is about 12km from the Bologna center). It was the first European city in my life that I was able to soak in the Italian culture, language and way of life. I will never forget all those cobblestone streets in a foggy night dimly lit under yellowish street lights. It was so peaceful and beautiful that they looked like coming right out from an old history book. It was like going back in time...
