Roman Bridge, Guadalquivir River, Cordoba

Cordoba, Spain

The bridge was built by the Romans in the early 1st century BC, perhaps replacing a previous one in wood. It currently has 16 arcades, one less than original ones, and a total length of 247 meters. The width is around 9 meters. (Wikipedia)

Impressive looking structure. Wonderful the way you have angled the image, giving us full sweep of its length and its solidity, as well as mooring it in the musky colored river and framing the top with a slender band of blue sky and touring passersby.
