Somerset is now my home county and this gallery brings together some of the best shots I've taken within it in an attempt to demonstrate what a beautiful area it is.

Somerset is - or was - my home County. I now live in Australia and seeing these beautiful photos makes me feel so homesick. I have been back several times for holidays and will be there again in May this year. It will be so wonderful to see all these places again. Perhaps it is time to come home at last!

Thanks for your comments on my Somerset gallery. I've been to the south coast around Weymouth to West Bay a few times but so far never to Somerset. I just loved it. Not as touristy as the south but at least as nice. Very much enjoyed your photos of Somerset and the Cathedral interiors too.

As a pupil of Yeovil Grammar School in the early 60´s I rode my bike for miles through East Coker, Pendomer, Hinton St.George,Martock, West Bay and so many delightful Somerset villages. My memory has not erred. They really are as beautiful as I remember them! Your photos are a delight.Thank you!

I had forgotten just how beautiful Martock was. I was born and grew up there but left to live in London in 1978. I still live in the city and I have not been back to Martock for several years. A visit seems long overdue.
