Hey, That blue and white building is the Dolphin Swimming and Boating Club at the foot of Hyde at Jefferson, a place I know well, having swam in the Bay for years, across the Golden Gate, from Alcatraz. Often in a thawing state after a swim I walked past these step. You have managed to show them in a new, fresh and creative way. The inclusion of the bit of blue window frame and where you have placed it in the composition make this image work. I love the repeating zig zag lines of the edges of the steps and how they interact with the boards on the wall of the building.

I love this image. Great job seeing the similarities between the horizontal lines in the steps and the lines of the house, then making big simple triangles out of them!
