IMG_0048_FocusMagic.jpg

Sometimes we have shots that we'd like to keep but they are ruined for various reasons, one of which is 'camera shake'.
Conventional sharpening techniques don't work and even some specialized filters are less than ideal. Photoshop 'Motion Blur' did little and Topaz InFocus is non-intuitive and made it worse.
The best solution that I've found is the Photoshop plug-in, 'Focus Magic'.
Don't expect miracles but it does work and can salvage some shots if we are not being ultra critical.

Here's a before-and-after picture of my daughter that I took with my wife's little digital Elf. Crop @ 100% of original image on left and PP web-view @ 50%(?) on right
At 1/8 second the image didn't have a chance.

Canon PowerShot SD400
1/8s f/2.8 at 5.8mm iso50 full exif
