Carol had a hard time getting me to leave Madera Canyon; but, on 30 May, we drove to Cat Mountain Lodge (a wonderful B&B) west of Tucson.
A 20 minute drive SouthWest took us to this very old Catholic Mission - "White Dove of the Desert" built between 1783-1797 located on the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation.
The Tohono O'odham locals that built this mission were fabulous craftsman. I need to get a 'long-distant' image of this Mission. See 'previous'.
