Couldn't help but notice this brightly colored wasp buzzing around Mary Jo's Ash Canyon birding areas; would light on the ground and go into every whole; presume it was looking for tarantulas.
I managed just one image; glad I didn't 'excite' this wasp, as I've now learned just how painful a bite they can deliver.
