I like to dry the wet paint - at least for the first minute or so - by moving it near a space heater. This seems to help flash off the solvent and get the paint to lay down thin and smooth, especially when I've applied it too heavily. The heat was too much for the "aluminum" window frames, which have fared no better than if they'd actually been in a fire. I will carve out the majority of the frames and model this one with the windows open.
