One of the key species of this area, being found only in this part of China, and one that we missed the first day but saw several on this day. With Vinous-throated being the only Parrotbill I was familiar with, the size of these was almost shocking. I never could get a clean shot in the dense reeds they inhabit, even though several of them were within 10-15 feet at times.
