On Mother's Day weekend 2013, my cousin and his wife came back home from California to visit family.

I was able to snap some pictures and experiment with different Lightroom 4 presets such as grain and washed out effects to vignettes and gray scale versions. I'm sure I broke some rules of photography along the way but I'm ok with it.

It was a necessity to bring my doggie, Oscar W. along for the ride. For the life of me, I can't ever get him to take any pictures of me. My efforts are all in vain. Which brings me to another important point...

I ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS seem to forget to get in to the pictures! After getting back home, I realized AGAIN that I'm not in ANY OF THEM! Except in the sunglasses of my cousin Brett (picture 3120) ... but that doesn't count.

Unhhhhh!!!

Oh well, I'll try to remember next time!!!!!
