I really like the Common Snapping Turtle and it is great to see another person take an interest in these special species.
I have rescued several of them and relocated them here in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.
I hope to learn more and hear perhaps more of your experiences with them.
They love shrimp !!! I can tell you that much. I usually like to feed them their fill before I release them to their new, pernament relocation lake/bog/swamp area.
I can pick them up and handle them no problem. Just takes some experience.
I plan to relocate to Houston in a few months.
