Looking southeast from Parque del Amor, Miraflores, Lima. I enjoyed my brief time in Lima. Miraflores is a nice area and I had no problems (Lima gets a pretty bad rap). The rest of Lima was also good (particularly the area around Plaza Mayor - except for all the con artists). I walked all the way there from my hostel in Miraflores. I could have done with another day or so in Lima. Miraflores tends to be the home of the city's rich. It has lots of restaurants and nightlife.
