Flaming May, Flaming June and now Flaming July

We have not had a day without rain somewhere, in the whole country since April.
The rain has broken all records, the amount which fell in June was the most for one hundred years.
Floods over much of the country, fields turned to mud, shows and concerts in the country cancelled.
Looking on the bright side, tomorrow is St Swithin's Day, and if it should be sunny, then we shall have sun and heat for the next forty days!
As a very wise man sang, 'Always look on the bright side of life...tada tada tada tada ...'

The worst part is that summer will not wait until the rain stops :0) Hope it stops soon Mary !!

When they were speaking of records to be broken this month, I think they meant Olympic, not Weather !!! Oh my. But cheer up, it'll be alright on the day. ;-)

Oh my goodness, you are really getting it! We are in the dry part of the year for us. It's pretty normal here right now.
