We all tend to take for granted many little advantages deeply rooted in our daily routine. I think it's a mistake. One of the secrets of a pleasant life is maybe keeping the enthusiasm of children who have the skill to get surprised by the repetition of beautiful details, again and again, as if they were brand new every time.
Exactly above the sink, in my kitchen, there is this window and I simply need to lift my eyes up, while I wash a cup or I clean some vegetables to enjoy this remarkable view, which is like a renewed gift, day after day.
