Unfired Primus model 71 ( Post -Optimus buy-out)

This stove was built after 1964 as early 71's are made of Alum. Optimus bought Primus out in 1964 and changed the colors , but not the name. This stove was produced till 1972

Monte, that it my stove exactly, bought in August 1968 at REI in Seattle. It will go with me to Utah next month. My case is rusty and some of the paint has peeled away from repeated heatings, but the stove still works fine. I haven't had to use the throat-cleaners in years.
