Shalimar Garden

Shalimar Garden was constructed by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1641 along the Grand Trunk Road some 3 miles northeast of Lahore. The garden comprises of many large and imposing buildings known as "Baradaries" or summer pavilions.
