Gus18 has been taking short flights from one roof top to another.
He still has a few of his baby feathers around his neck, but has filled out nicely in deep black.

One hour after this photo, he flew to a nearby power pole and had a awkward landing. He was electrocuted. Dead. His mom was in the tree next to the pole
and was making noises, I suppose trying to wake him up. I'm very sad. The is the 3rd year that one of the vultures was killed on that same pole.
