Sugar Land, Texas

Spay and Neuter
These 'signs' were painted on the outbuildings at the Sugar Land Animal Control.
Tom and I visited their adoption center hoping to find the right little orphan to adopt.
The Animal Shelter requires potential adopters to have a 3 day "sleep-over" with the animal to make
sure that he/she will be the right fit.

I brought home a 3 year old calico kitty to try her out, see what Finn thinks and see if she likes us too.
They gave us a "sleep-over" supply kit, with food and toys and her bio.
Her name is Miriam, given by the shelter. She was a stray with 4 kittens when she was brought in.
She seems sweet and hopefully she'll be motherly with Finn.
She won't fill Dusty's place, that little cat had a HUGE personality and presence.

Mim & Finn...sound like a perfect match. Love the sign and have to agree with Bill :)

I hope Miriam fits in with you and your family.
Personally, I think we should address overpopulation of people too!

I like their sign, and I'm happy to hear you've found Miriam. Hope she works out and becomes a member of the family!

Creative painting!
Hoping to see an image of Miriam soon! ....and don't sell Miriam's personality short ~ she may turn out to be a domineering cat! :)
