Hot. Hotter than Lisbon. Very hot and very, very humid. It reached 30ºC here in Dundee this afternoon, and boy was it hot. I spent the morning working on a translation in the Old Potting Shed. I have installed a fan, and it has certainly come in useful. The Old Potting Shed gets very warm inside, and in the morning the sun shines straight in the windows, which have - as yet - no curtains or blinds to keep it out. The afternoon was spent with Liam cutting the grass and pulling out weeds. We didn't last long, though, as the heat chased us into the house for lots of cold things (yes, I know it is better to drink a hot drink as that makes you sweat and cool down). Later, once the sun had gone down a little, we ventured forth into the garden again, where we stayed until 11pm. Tomorrow Liam becomes a teenager... already!
