My God! Am I padding again? This is harder than giving up smoking!! Anyway, I had a few carnations lying around, and the 28mm lens was just sitting there, taunting me to put it on backwards and take some extreme macros of the revolutionary symbols. So there you have it. Just another way to while away some time between the end of lunch and work. Think I'll dedicate this one to Ian Stickland for being a ManU fan (consolation for a trophyless season, perhaps!). Liam's off school sick with a sore throat and swollen glands. He's been on his PC since he got up, and now he's sitting watching Mystic River. Our neighbours are having a new fence built as I speak, and it is looking quite good so far. The man they've got doing it seems to be taking advantage of the sudden downpour to go and have some lunch. As for me? I'm trying to conjure up the enthusiasm to get on with some work. So far, though, it's just not happening. Tomorrow I am off to the hospital to see the consultant about the sciatica. I've been told, though, that this is just an appraisal to see if I need a scan... I just hope I don't have to wait another three months for that!
