This is my old friend, Charles.
I first met Charles when I worked in the Irish pub in Lisbon.
He was a regular and I was staff.
I then shared a flat with him in Alcāntara for a couple of years.
He used to work with JK Rowling teaching English in Porto.
Charles was the person who got me into photography all those years ago.
Anyway, while he was in Scotland he came up to see me.
We went on a road trip from Dundee to Pitlochry.
Then we went to Garry Bridge, Tummel Bridge and Kinloch Rannoch.
We came back to Dundee over the Braes of Foss and past Schiehallion.
Then we stopped off at the Fortingall Yew and Aberfeldy.
We came back to Dundee via Dunkeld and Coupar Angus.
The sun shone the whole time.
