Last day of the month and I headed up to Garry Bridge.
I was meeting a couple of people I have known for more than 15 years, but who I have never met.
Linda and David from the old Pbase Photo-a-Day days.
They were in Scotland on holiday with their two lovely and well-behaved dogs, Lola and JD.
They very generously drove more than 80 miles to meet me, and I forced them to walk 6 miles.
On very uneven ground and on the hottest day of the year.
Poor Linda was ready for another holiday at the end of it (I think we all were).
But at least they got to see two rivers, a waterfall, two man-made lochs (one full of water lilies), a hydro-electric power station, a bungee jump and an enchanted forest.
We'll do something less energetic the next time!
