We got out to the Highlands for the first time since 20 March.
Our destination was set: Kinloch Rannoch.
I would say we took the scenic route, but all the routes are scenic.
We decided to go via Aberfeldy, where we stopped to enjoy the Birks.
We were going to stop for a walk at Braes of Foss, but half of England seemed to be there.
Who could resist stopping off at "Creag-na-Dun"? Not us!
Our lunch was taken in the car looking across Loch Rannoch to the mountains of Glencoe.
The day was rounded off with a walk through the Carie Woods on the south bank of the loch.
The weather held up. It was a good day.
