Council Bikes

In the interests of reducing carbon emissions, our council has made bikes available for hire. Unfortunately it is illegal to ride a bike without a helmet, and not many of us are in the habit of
carrying one around in our handbags (camera bags) yet!!

Yes, I had heard of this initiative in Brisbane. I guess helmets could be hired too but that raises a hygeine problem, and then for women there's the issue of "helmet hair". Like the shot nevertheless.

Very colorful image with the cool repeating pattern. I agree with the council in the interests of safety but don't understand why they force riders to advertise Unilever products.

Well seen, well captured and I like the yellow, but not the helmet-idea. I never wear a helmet. We are free the wear one or not in our country, and I think it's the right way, and your own responsibility.
